Rome “Age Of The Empire” Walking Tour
Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Imperial Fora, Trajan’s Column.

The tour starts from the Amphiteatrum Flavium, better known as the Colosseum (or Coliseum). From here we will enter the Palatine Hill, the grand Palace of the Emperors, mainly build in the first century, same age as the Colosseum. The Palace nearly covered most of the hill, and from its top you can enjoy a breathtaking view on Rome and on the Roman Forum. We will descend from the Palatine to visit the Arch of Titus, and from there we will briefly explore the main buildings of the Roman Forum ending up along Via dei Fori Imperiali, where there are the impressive ruins of the monumental squares build by the early Roman Emperors to celebrate themselves. The tour will end up in Piazza Venezia by the Column dedicated to Emeror Trajan erected in 100 AD.
