KeyToRome.com by Alliance Travel Service offers different type of tours, walks and activities to enjoy Rome’s infinite cultural and historical heritage. We are offering you the unique experience of “The Grand Tour”, a lived experience of art and culture, off the beaten tracks and away from the crowds and the mass tourism routes. Please prepare yourself for a relaxed, educational, and exciting discovering of Rome with our commented itineraries for small groups.

The tours run as scheduled, rain or shine, but please enter a valid mobile phone to reach you in case anything happens and we need to make little re-arrangements. Group size may vary from 10 to 25 people only, headsets are included if mentioned, our guides will talks loudly and clearly and anyone have always the chance to ask questions which are always welcome and enrich for visit to everyone. Each tour consist always of a general introduction of 10/15 minutes, then the guide will explain the artwork, the buildings and the facts behind them showing you around, some tours include a short break for restrooms & co. Our guides concentrate on the explanation of the meaning and the facts which are “behind” history and culture, and also on the commentaries made by the Poets and the Artists in the past, giving you the elements to understand and enjoy what you are visiting.

Our tours are designed for a culturally curious traveller, not necessary highly educated, but for sure interested in a deeper understanding. At the same time they are easy and not exhausting, which makes them the perfect choice for families, aged travellers and people with special needs. Finally our tours are not for the rush-here-rush-there tourist, but for travellers which ask for a bit more from their experience of Rome.

All the tours must be booked in advance just following the simple instructions, some tours require pre- payment, for futher information and assistance please do not hesitate to write us at info@thegrandtour.it or call at 06 45493814.

All the tours are in English, some are also available in other languages, the participation fee normally includes all entrances and expenses, children under 6 do not pay any fee.

For groups larger than 15, travel agencies, or special needs please contact us to have a private tour quotation or a group discount

Payment: some tours can be paid cash to the Guide, some other must be pre-paid in this case please choose you preferred payment method: you can normally choose a Bank Transfer, Paypal using credit card or Paypal account, or you can purchase advanced tickets in our office using credit card or cash.

Once you have booked a tour you have 3 days to complete you payment.

Cancellation Policy: for tours cancelled 24hours before the date of the tour you will be fully refund, no refund for no show or late cancellation. If you have a pre-purchased Voucher please enter you code, we will validate your booking within 24 hours.
