Getting Around in Rome can be tricky if you don’t know some simple local rules. Here there is a short list of tips that can help you getting around quite easily.

Train: Leonardo Express – Every 30 mins From Fiumicino Airport to TERMINI STATION
From 6 am to 23 pm approximately every day, 7 days a week, the service leaves every half-hour in both directions, with journeys lasting 31 minutes.
The trains leave every hour at these times:

Public Transport:
Unlike Paris, London or New York City, Rome has a small and relatively new Metro network. It basically consist of 2 lines: Line A (Red) from Battistini to Anangnina and Line B (Blue) from Rebibbia to EUR. They both cross diagonally the city and there is only one exchange station in TERMINI train Station.
Metro gets quite busy in rush hours, locals and tourists seem to have no respect of the “classic” Tube rules, so don’t expect people to make room on the platform or passangers on the bank to wait on the side of the doors before getting on.
Single Fare Ticket costs € 1,00, you can buy a daily travel pass or a Roma Pass, wich is a Card including entrances in 2 musums ans 2 free days on public transport.
