Obikà, despite the japanese style and sound, in a neapolitan expression, which means literaly “here is it”. And, ideed, the Mozzarella is here. From an idea by Silvio Ursini the Mozzarella Campana Dop, the original one made whit Buffalo’s milk, has its sanctuary in Rome, where first opened in 2004, but also in many cities around the world.

The idea is easy: a restaurant/bar focused on mozzarella tasting, melting toghether traditional italian quality and recipes whith the international stylish restaurants. Food quality and food presentations are very good and sometimes outstanding, service, especially in the busy Obikà in Campo dei Fiori, is not always the quickest and the best, but since you are in Rome this is generally normal and acceptable.

From 7.30 pm “Aperitivo Obikà” with little mozzarella “bocconcini” and tastings

Sunday Mozzarella Brunch.

History: In May 2004, the first Obikà Mozzarella Bar in the world was opened in Piazza di Firenze, in central Rome. The restaurant combines the contemporary design with some typical Roman architectural features, such as the airy arcades displaying Doric columns in the back room.

From 6.00 pm “Aperitivo Obikà” with little mozzarella “bocconcini” and tastings
